Our Mediator - Eric Churet

Eric is a qualified Civil and Commercial Mediator and a member of the Civil Mediation Council. He became a mediator to help families and companies avoid the cost, extensive timing and aggravation of solving disputes via the court process and help preserve relationships.

As a Will writer and Estate Planner, he is well placed to help families solve succession disputes. Prior to this, Eric had a 30 years carreer in business, having held many senior management positions and has been involved in resolving conflicts between his employers and their clients.

His 35 years career has helped him develop many of the skills needed for effective mediation in particular, the art of asking pertinent questions, reading situations and people to get an in-depth understanding of positions, listening and cultural skills, to help find creative solutions to a problem.

His approach considers the emotional, economic, cultural and factual elements of a dispute and the parties involved leading to a safe and comfortable environment that favour discussions.

 He has a Master Business Administration degree (including Business Law); qualified as a mediator through Align Mediation ( an approved training company by the Civil Mediation Council) and as a Will Writer through the College of Will Writing (the training arm of the Society of Will Writers).

Eric is bilingual English and French.
